The One World Media Fellowship Scheme brings a group of senior broadcasters from the developing world to the UK for a two-week fellowship every year. During this time they meet a range of media figures to learn about the media scene in the UK, and to share their own perspective on the role of the media in their countries and around the world.

We're sorry to announce that the fellowship scheme has been postponed for 2010, and unfortunately we will not be taking any fellowship applications this year. Anyone interested in the fellowship scheme should check this page for further updates. You're also welcome to subscribe to our newsletter, via our homepage.

Since 1996, the fellowship scheme has involved over 60 senior broadcasters from over 25 countries. One World Media has also run specialised Fellowship Schemes, including - most recently - a scheme aimed at journalists reporting on climate change. "One of the most significant things that the fellowship has done this year is try and narrow the gap between the developed world and developing world, and to bring common understanding. Everywhere we went we did not just learn, we shared."
