Student Media Fund
The Student Media Fund supports students on selected media courses in the UK, to help them make a piece of media in a developing country as part of their course. It is run as part of the One World Student Media Programme - click here for more information.
The application deadline for the second round of funding has now passed.
Applications are now closed for the second round of funding in 2010. Check back for future funding opportunities.
How to Apply
When the fund is open, applicants need to submit the following:
1. a completed application form (right)
2. a brief personal CV (not more than two pages)
3. a proposal for the media you wish to produce, which must not exceed 4 pages. See the guidelines (right) for full details on what this should contain.
4. a reference from your course tutor. Applications without a reference will not be accepted – we need to receive assurance that your project has the backing of your institution, and that they will lend you the necessary equipment (if applicable)
