For more than 35 years, the One World Media Awards have celebrated the industry’s best media coverage of the global south. Spotlighting underreported stories that break through stereotypes, change the narrative and connect people across cultures.

To select the winners and nominees, 60 of the industry’s most distinguished journalists, filmmakers and media professionals are selected from around the world for an intense, online jury day.

See some of our past winners through the years.
