Announcing the Global Short Docs Forum Longlist

After weeks of deliberating, we’re excited to announce the Longlisted Filmmakers for this year’s Global Short Docs Forum.

These 25 filmmakers will participate in two online training sessions in February 2023, ahead of the final selections. The sessions include masterclasses on pitch writing and trailer editing, to support applicants in developing their proposals. Following this training, 16 shortlisted filmmakers will attend the 4-week Forum and one-to-one pitch meetings. We welcome this talented cohort of storytellers.
