Our Production Fund is NOW OPEN!

It’s that time of year again – applications are NOW OPEN for round two of our 2017 Production Fund, which gives those starting out in journalism or filmmaking the opportunity to cover stories in a developing country and bring underreported topics to a wider audience.
For more than 16 years our Production Fund has supported over 160 young reporters to tell important and original stories from 68 different countries in the developing world.

Some of the stories our grantees have covered include forensic nurses fighting sex crimes in South Africa, the challenges faced by refugees from the Middle East living in China, the story of a transgender rickshaw driver in Rajasthan, and the Forgotten Army of hill tribe troops who fought alongside British soldiers in Myanmar.

Don’t forget – you must first attend a workshop to be eligible for the fund!
