The Production Fund is NOW OPEN!
Applications are NOW OPEN for our 2018 Autumn Production Fund, which gives emerging journalists and filmmakers the opportunity to cover stories in a developing country and bring underreported topics to light.
Since 2001 our Production Fund has supported 184 young reporters to tell important and original stories from 72 different countries in the developing world. The fund provides each recipient with a £1000 grant, one-to-one mentoring, invaluable workshops on sound, editing and post production led by our industry experts, and introductions to commissioners.
Our current grantees are reporting on stories of gentrification in Cuba, elderly Filipino carers, an Islamic pilgrimage in Senegal, young football players in Panama and much more. Find out more about the fund, previous grantees and how to apply here.
We recommend that applicants to the fund also complete our International Reporting Workshop.
