Statement on One World Media Board Transition

One World Media confirms that Kadaria Ahmed has taken the decision to step down from her role as Trustee and will not be assuming the position of Co-Chair of the Board in 2026, as previously announced.

The Board of Trustees said:

“We thank Kadaria for her contribution during her time as Trustee, and for the leadership, insight, and perspective she has brought to the organisation. Her commitment to strengthening independent journalism globally, and her vision for its future, have had a lasting impact on One World Media. We are grateful for her guidance and passion throughout her tenure.”

Peter Horrocks will continue as Chair and trustees will announce arrangements for his successor in the coming weeks.
